For decades, the only way to get a high-fidelity headphone experience was to use passive audiophile headphones tethered to a bulky outboard amplifier (yeah, not exactly portable). Mo-Fi changes all that, with a custom-made, audiophile-grade 240mW amplifier built right in. This powered design allowed us to include ultra-premium drivers, and reduces the audio workload on mobile sources so you can enjoy far superior audio quality. With Mo-Fi, you’ll be able to run your device well within its optimal operating range—resulting in crystal-clear, non-distorted audio.Watch Video
you know about headphones
Mo-Fi is the first headphone that delivers real audiophile performance and sound quality on every device—from professional studio gear to laptops, tablets and even your phone. Oh, and we completely reimagined how it fits on your head, so you’ll get both optimal sound and listen-all-day comfort. Because trust us, you’ll want to.This is Mo-Fi
Let The Power Go To Your Head
Built-in Amp + Premium Drivers
Mo-Fi is the first headphone that combines a built-in audiophile amplifier and insanely great-sounding drivers for a truly mind-blowing listening experience. Sure, this means Mo-Fi can get loud. But more importantly, it allows for the most accurate sound reproduction—so you’ll always enjoy great-sounding audio, on every device. Frankly, it’s surprising no one ever thought of this before—but hey, we’re Blue. Innovation is what we do best.
Built-in Audiophile Amp
POWER TO THE PEOPLE
IMPOSSIBLY DETAILED SOUND. MADE POSSIBLE.
Thanks to Mo-Fi’s built-in amplifier, we were able to utilize extremely high-quality drivers that reproduce sound accurately and dynamically when combined with lots of power. These custom-designed 50mm dynamic drivers are some of the largest on the market (yeah, size does matter). We designed Mo-Fi’s drivers to be the best balance between efficiency and accuracy when matched to the built-in amp. Unlike other headphones that rely solely on the teeny amplifier built into your phone or computer, Mo-Fi’s drivers and amplifier are custom-matched to each other so they always reproduce audio with the greatest accuracy and dynamic response.Watch Video
Wouldn't it be amazing to get high-fidelity audio on any device?
Impossible, you say? Well listen to this: Mo-Fi improves the sound of every source—from smartphones to studio gear—by reducing the audio workload on your device. The built-in amp provides tons of power so your source doesn’t have to work as hard. It all adds up to vastly superior performance and jaw-dropping sound quality.
Exceptional Fit and Comfort
A Welcome Break from Conventional Designs
Mo-Fi is no ordinary headphone. From the multi-jointed design to earcups shaped—gasp—like ears, we completely reimagined the form and functionality, without any preconceived notions about what headphones are "supposed" to look like. The result feels less like a headphone, and more like a high-quality instrument you can wear. Some call it radical. We just call it Mo-Fi.Full Overview Video
Adjustable Tension Knob
The typical one-tension-fits-all approach tends to make no one happy. Depending on your head size, ear thickness, and maybe your astrological sign, you’ll probably want a pressure level that’s different from what your headphone provides. That’s why Mo-Fi features an adjustable tension knob that allows you to dial-in the perfect "goldilocks" setting—not too tight, not too loose, but just right.
Nearly every headphone out there utilizes the "spring loaded" headband design that you’ve seen a zillion times. But those springy headbands are fraught with problems. They don’t provide consistent pressure. They’re uncomfortable. The ear cups don’t like staying parallel. We knew there had to be a better way...
And there was. The unique multi-jointed headband solution we designed for Mo-Fi was inspired by the finely tuned suspension of open-wheeled Formula One racecars. It’s elegant. It’s comfortable. And it’s adaptable to a variety of head shapes and sizes. You get a level of fit and comfort that simply isn’t possible on other headphones. And it creates a perfect seal, resulting in solid bass response, improved isolation and reduction in sound bleed.Watch Video
Most headphones on planet Earth require you to adjust the height of the earcups by yanking them down. Mo-Fi’s height adjustment happens in a completely different way. The adjustable pivoting arms allow for a small change in the angle of the earcups to achieve a large amount of height adjustment. The ear cups simply float into place.Watch Video
EARCUPS THAT ACTUALLY
FIT YOUR EARS
Our ears are shaped like ears. So why are the earcups on most headphones round? We have no idea either. Mo-Fi’s earcups provide a better seal because the earpad contacts your head at the point nearest your ear, not down the side of your cheek or off the backside of your head. Plus, it’s easy to tell the left side from the right without checking.
Beyond their shape, Mo-Fi’s earcups play an important role in how the drivers reproduce sound. Mo-Fi provides excellent isolation and ambient noise reduction while still allowing the driver to breathe. It’s like a one-way valve for sound.Watch Video
It took a bunch of people with vision, passion, and a rebellious spirit to come up with something as different as Mo-Fi. We thought you might like to meet some of the folks who helped inspire, design, and create it, so we set up some cameras and asked them to share their insights on this labor of love.Watch Video
Three All-Analog Amp Modes
Switch It Up, Your Ears Will Thank You
Unlike other headphones that put more bass in your face whether you want it or not, Mo-Fi lets you choose the right sound for your music. No DSP tricks here — this is analog, baby. No matter if you’re listening to 70s-era rock, modern pop, orchestral, hip-hop or something else, you’ll have total control over your listening experience.
THREE ALL-ANALOG AMP MODES
SWITCH IT UP. YOUR EARS WILL THANK YOU
Loud bass isn’t necessarily good bass—and Mo-Fi knows good bass. Whether "On" or "On+," Mo-Fi delivers the perfect low end for your favorite music.
Mo-Fi’s amplifier sound profiles include:
- On:When switched on, the Mo-Fi amplifier delivers completely natural, detailed sound - the full Mo-Fi experience.
- On+:This setting engages the amplifier’s analog low-frequency enhancement circuit, which delivers incredibly deep and smooth bass for those times when your source material could use some extra low-end support.
- Off:When switched off, Mo-Fi works in passive mode for connecting to high-performance studio gear that may already have amplification for headphones, or when the battery is at the end of its charge.
Take the Longest Power Trip
Mo-Fi’s smart design saves big on battery life, ensuring that the headphones are always ready for action. First off, Mo-Fi knows when you’ve stopped listening and automatically powers down to save juice when you take them off. The battery will charge completely in 3-4 hours, and will give you approximately 12 hours of life-changing playtime (with intelligent power management, that 12 hours will feel like forever). And even if the battery runs down, Mo-Fi will still keep the music going. Finally, headphones with staying power.

Enjoy Music in All Its High-Res Glory
More and more hi-resolution audio recordings are hitting the market. These incredible tracks far exceed the resolution of MP3s or streaming music, so you can enjoy all the details of the original recordings. But clearly, you shouldn’t listen to such hi-res music with low-res headphones. Only Mo-Fi can faithfully reproduce these amazing recordings. So go Mo-Fi—and hear what you’ve been missing.HD Tracks Pono Music J River Mobile Fidelity

Why Be passive when you can be powered?
Remember when studio monitors went from passive to active? Now it’s happened to headphones. Mo-Fi brings the performance of high-end reference monitors to your ears, so you can judge what’s really going on in your mix. When you’re tracking loud drums and guitars, the built-in amplifier provides more than enough headroom, while the excellent sound isolation allows you to hear the mix clearly. And since Mo-Fi reproduces sound with such astounding accuracy and detailed imaging, you’ll finally be able to create mixes that translate across all systems.
